A Bellevue cleaning company that assigns one crew to each building

Vlad runs Premium Services WA, a commercial-only cleaning company in Bellevue, on a plain idea: one assigned crew per building and an owner who answers the phone.

Once a month, a Premium Services WA crew visits NAEGELI Deposition & Trial, a court reporting and trial services office, for what the company calls a detail clean. They dust the tops of the cabinetry, wash the crystal wall sconces by hand and polish the ornate entry doors. Nobody notices that work from one week to the next, the company’s website says, but clients notice when it has been skipped for a year.

Detail work on someone else’s business is the whole of what Vlad does. Premium Services WA cleans commercial buildings only: offices, medical and dental practices, schools, gyms, churches, retail. He doesn’t hedge about what he wants the company known for. “Commercial cleaning, definitely,” he says. He is the sole owner. “It’s just me.”

The company is registered in Bellevue, he says, though it works in Seattle too. Its website lists a service area that runs from Everett to Auburn, with crews also covering southwest Washington and Portland.

What Vlad says sets the company apart has less to do with any one task than with who shows up and who answers. “We work business-to-business, right? So it’s important that the other business owners are satisfied,” he says. His clients are other owners and managers, and he wants them to be able to reach him. “I am responding to all the phone calls,” he says. According to the website, he also walks new facilities himself and stays the point of contact after an account starts.

The company is young. Vlad moved to the United States around 2020, and he says some people he met after arriving helped him find his footing. He was doing the work before the company was official, he says; Premium Services WA was formally established around 2022.

The method, as the website lays it out, begins with a walkthrough of the building, which usually takes 20 to 30 minutes. Out of that comes a written checklist for the space. A background-checked crew is assigned to the account and stays on it, so the same people clean the building each visit and learn its quirks. Supervisors check the work against the checklist. Most accounts are cleaned in the evening or overnight, and crews bring their own equipment and products.

Schedules follow how a building is used. For an office that fills up Tuesday through Thursday and empties out on Mondays and Fridays, the company says it puts visits after the busy days instead of spreading them evenly.

In medical offices, the order of work matters. The crew cleans a surface first, according to the website, then applies an EPA-registered disinfectant and leaves it wet for the contact time printed on the label. Crews work from clean areas toward dirty ones and from high surfaces down to the floor, so a cloth that has touched a restroom never reaches an exam table. Among its medical accounts, the company lists a medical spa in Issaquah and a dental office in Kirkland.

That Kirkland office, an elementary school and several Bellevue offices have been with the company for years, the website says. One customer wrote in a Google review that Vlad found the crew that now cleans the office.

Vlad puts that assignment at the core of why the work gets done. “When we take on a new client, we assign a family,” he says. That team is responsible for the one account, he says, and comes to treat it as its own job. He says his workers feel a sense of ownership over what they do, and he traces it back to upbringing. “It’s how we grew up,” he says. Most of the crews are Eastern European, and he wonders whether that is part of it. “Maybe that’s a part of our culture, work hard.”

He tries to lead by example, he says, and to keep talking with the crews so they know the company belongs to all of them. “It’s all of our business, not just mine.”
